    i was in Nisyros from 1st-8th October and can certainly agree with his comments about walk 1 Emborios to Evangelistra. Route finding from the village was difficult and was not sure I was on the correct path until I got to the lava bubble. There were a few 2 double headed arrows but not enough. Some parts of the path were quite exposed and did consider going back but some small sections would have been more difficult on the way back. Challenging or hard whatever word to use.

    Once on the tarmac road I took the track to Armas hoping to link up with the paths on the Terrain map as an alternative route to Mandhraki. At Armas it was all terraces and animal tracks and I had no idea which was the right line. I would run into the goat fence eventually with no idea where the gate was. Not a good idea and returned to the Road. At least I knew where I was.
